As Spring shows its beautiful face full of new growth, we are busy in the kitchen starting our second market of this Farmer’s Market season. Spring’s energetic quality is to “lift up”, like sap in the tree, like newly formed buds and spring ramps and fiddleheads finally showing themselves to the forest floor. This week Macro Mamas menu reflects this spring like quality.  Not only are we harvesting from our local forest we are also gracing the table with local produce from Ploughbreak and Remebrance Farms.
