Our final market (next Saturday, December 12th) is in sight and so we are gradually slowing our collective pace. Now is the time for cozy evenings and winter preparations. Now is the time for simple, hearty meals and warm gatherings. With this in mind, we have prepared another full and wholesome meal to keep your bodies happily humming along.

Several varieties of local squash have been massaged with rosemary oil, which should aid digestion, as well as garden thyme and lemon zest. Shiitakes and button mushrooms have been reduced down into a creamy sauce for Farmer Ground polenta. And beautiful cauliflower has been simmering with local Asian pears and housemade vegetable stock for this week's soup special. Come taste the autumn goodness at tomorrow's Ithaca Farmers Market!
