Greetings, friends. Daylight saving time has ended and we are so grateful to see the sun when we leave home for the Macro Mamas kitchen each morning! However, our bodies are still adjusting to the early evening darkness and some of us are busy fending off various cold weather illnesses.
This truth, coupled with shortened market hours (now 10am-2pm!), has made for a simple yet robust menu. Nishime winter squash, nutrient dense kale, and pancakes crammed with carrot and burdock are set to energize even the weakest among you. In addition to our standard meal, we will be offering two hearty soups: creamy squash and seared mushroom. Both are excellent choices, particularly if you have a little extra healing to do this weekend.
