Almost everyone has left the kitchen with just one remaining, finishing some last minute details. It's quiet, but one can still feel the energy of the day lingering and it is excited, light, and looking forward to Saturday market! It has been another lively week in the Macro Mamas kitchen; We tested new recipes, made amazing quantities of delicious and nourishing food for two markets and another beautiful wedding, and as always, we learned a lot and had plenty to laugh about. What we bring tomorrow is an expression of this week in the finger lakes - and in the kitchen. We have beautiful escarole from Plow Break Farm, and so many delicious strawberries (3 layer golden semolina cake with strawberry coconut cream frosting) from Stick and Stone and much more.
