If you know Macro Mamas, you know that we love to incorporate locally foraged ingredients into our recipes. Today's project is elderflowers! Peggy harvested them from a secret spot just this morning.

Elderflowers have a range of nutritional and medicinal benefits, which you can read all about here. They are a splendid addition to sweet drinks and desserts, and that is just what we have in mind for market. The simple syrup infusion takes time and love to set up, but it promises to brighten our offerings next Saturday. Don't you worry, though, because we have plenty of treats in store for tomorrow!
