Greetings, friends! We hope that the past week has been a tad less hectic for you than it has for us. Unsurprisingly, the process of gearing up for market season did not end with our first market day. The icing on the cake was yesterday's irregular batch of lima beans, which had us sorting beans by hand for hours. At least it felt that way. 

With that said, we remain in good spirits, knowing that nothing compares to a lovingly cooked meal with quality ingredients. We feel that everyone deserves access to the kind of wholesome, locally produced food we prepare in our kitchen, but we also recognize that not everyone can keep up with its rising cost. This is why we have something new in store for our market family. Starting tomorrow, we will be taking donations for our Nourish Your Neighbor Fund. 

In the tradition of suspended coffees, where coffee shop customers can opt to purchase an additional beverage for someone in need, we will be putting the Nourish Your Neighbor contributions towards macro meals for folks who could not otherwise afford them. Pending participation, we will be able to offer individuals one small sampler platter at partial to no cost. We see this as a way to increase access to nourishing food in our community.

So, if you are someone with sufficient means, please consider donating; and if you are someone for whom Macro Mamas' meals are a luxury, stop by our booth sometime. We'd be glad to feed you.
