Greetings, friends!

This week we're highlighting the fresh flavors of summer with the addition of a RAW SALAD of ribboned summer squash and basil from Plowbreak Farm. We will also be bringing our first tomatoes of the season, having just received a delicious and beautiful assortment of heirloom varieties from Muddy Fingers Farm. Another first of the season on our menu will be ruby and golden beets from Blue Heron Farm. 

We feel so lucky to have an abundance of organic farms in our area with outstanding quality produce! Last but not least, get ready for some sweet, sweet corn. There is no alternative to fresh picked local (and of course, non-GMO) corn. We're cooking up a fennel, mushroom, and sweet corn ragu to top local polenta! And, fun fact, our polenta was actually ground at Farmer Ground by a very close friend of one of us. Hint: she made the pie.
